First purchase in 2021, a sorry looking Omega Seamaster Cosmic Automatic, ref. 166.026, cal. 565 from 1968.
Got a clean and polished the glass and a new Omega strap and looks much better already 😀

I was the one competing with you at the auction for that watch. Damn, I knew it would clean up nicely. Congrats.

Sharp! I picked up the same reference around the 2nd to last week in 2020 (close enough for your thread title).
Currently awaiting an 1125 bracelet that I ordered separately that's taking for forever to get here.

Got this ref 2608 for < $500 earlier this year . . .

[seller's photo]

. . . but shipping and sales tax pushed it just over the mark.

SMDV 166.020 on a 1037 BOR...needs a little bit of work after the minute hand jammed and mangled itself on the 11 o clock marker about 5 minutes after I'd paid for it 😁

Can’t be sure if this was this year, or just on the wrong side of the switch.
Neat looking 2996, either way. Fair bit under $500.

And then there’s the 2639 of yesterday, of course. 😀
