2020 - What watch did you buy for under $500?

It's just an old generic oyster style that our watch tech in the Philippines found for us at the outdoor markets a couple years back when we got the watch and had him service her up. Originally the watch was from Sweden and we bought it with a bunch of other oldies from a friend of ours who lives in Sweden and the Philippines. These things are tough as nails to be able to handle the extreme environments of both locales and the A.S. movements are real sweet runners and the deco dials on both our examples are way cool don't you think? 👍

I love the dial. I bought mine in Sweden too and probably have worn this watch the most in the last two years.

Just when I thought all the clean A-11's were taken this pops up on the bay. I got it for just under $300. Sorry for the multiple posts on this new to me watch. I am so excited about the find, and the honor of holding this little piece of history.

I recently bought this by unimatic. It was a bit of an impulse buy but it is a brand I have looked at before and I do like the aesthetics of previous releases. My understanding is that they don't last long on the shelves with limited number runs and quite a big following. The watch has been shipped but I am not sure when I will get home to try it out or see it in person. ( Image from the internet)
