For a moderately priced automatic, Bulova did really well here. I wish other watchmakers would follow their lead on re-pops. I (((love))) the red accent(s).

    Decimal stopwatch.

Absolutely no use for it these days, other than just looking at the movement or watching that blued steel hand tick around that immaculate dial.

Only bidder and got an eBay coupon to knock some bucks off, ended up at AUD$150. That's like a cab fare to the airport in NYC or Glasgow.

Macy's an authorized Citizen distributor so it even came with box, papers and a 5 year warranty!

Me too. But the ones I found were either dead or too expensive.

What I can't decide, and I'm trying to find out, is: Should I let it run or take the battery out until I want to wear it.

Let it run. Unless it has been recently service, I think the lubrication tends to set up.

Thanks kingsrider for steering to the new 2019 thread. I just purchased this one for under the $300 mark. I fell in love with everything about the watch. I'm not sure about the reference. A little help on that would be great. My guess is ref. 2503-?, from what I have researched. Since the case back is a Star case company, I'm not positive. My first honeycomb (clous de paris)? dial and first bumper (cal. 344). Not original crown and without a reference, not sure what to replace it with. :(

Seamaster 2990 for ~$450, delivered directly to my door by the seller. The dial is nearly flawless, crown is a service replacement.
