Ok. So the watch I purchased arrived and it is much better in person than the pictures from the ad that I originally posted. Here are some better photos of the watch with a much nicer strap attached as well. Someone please tell me the secret to taking great watch photos. These are better but still not great. It is much nicer in person than the photos. The nice thing is that the watch has a nice warm dial which was a pleasant surprise from the photos on ebay.

Window light, not direct sun window light, but ambient window light is a start for better watch pictures.

Seamaster 2990 for ~$450, delivered directly to my door by the seller. The dial is nearly flawless, crown is a service replacement.

Damn I am really jealous, nice catch ! You should find a nice 7 rows BoR for it.

Thanks for the info. I had tried that at first but was still getting a glare off the crystal. I will give it another shot and fool around with the settings as well.

This came in last week !

Was a little bit of a gamble, the bracelet fits with 185mm, something i hoped for 👍

Omega logo on the Crystal and the original Crown

I would say …….. lucky me !

But i need to bring it to a watchmaker, cause if it´s fully winded the watch stops, after wearing her for a while she runs like she should, strange thing 😉

£100 Citizen Promaster 'beater' watch for my watersports holiday last year - didn't miss a beat even after wiping out on the windsurfer or snorkelling. The Citizen graphic on the dial has completely bleached out from the sun.

Orient Mako USA ii. Just like the regular Mako 2 but sapphire crystal and solid end links. I wanted a white dial cheap beater diver and this caught my eye. After receiving it.... meh. I am not keeping it.

Bought this new for about $180. Solar powered. Love it as a beater (but always miss the Omega SMPc when I have to wear it).

Im a bottom feeder lol. Majority of the pieces I pick up are on the cheap. Occasionally I will branch out and spend over $500 .
