I think that MacLaren are looking a bit silly after being beaten by a Honda engine this weekend. However, they do have Alonso 4th in the Championship. I'm not sure they will keep that up. If the article is correct then Red Bull are in a good position with the option on the Renault engine and the Honda engine in their test team. Naively you have to believe that since Renault has 6 engines in the race. They have more feedback, more money so more resources therefore the engine has to get better quicker?

PS I've thought that Max V is reckless and overrated for ages.

Any news about COTA, Monaco, and Mexico which are supposed to be on ABC?

No idea about those. I just saw on espn.com that the rest of the season will be commercial free thanks to Mothers Polish becoming the title sponsor.

I loved the Vettel resilience, though I think there's one or two who could have pressurised him into a mistake or made him take too much out of the tyres/fuel. This race confirmed my view that Bottas is another Barrichello/Massa, lacking the ruthless streak that turns the occasional race victor into a championship winner. Verstappen has been overrated in terms of his current race-craft ability, but it's still early days for him and the potential in terms of speed and attitude is high. I've a feeling he will amass wins at a future point in the 'right' (for him) team.

What's the line on Max crashing into someone else and all his apologists blaming the other driver? I'm going to guess it will happen by the second race....

Well at least no one seems to be defending Max for that bonehead move.

Ferrari looked really good in FP3 which translated well to Q. Mercedes were all over the place in FP3 with understeer and stunk it up in Q.

Lewis was especially bad. Not looking to be a good year if you’re a Mercedes or Lewis fan right now.

Max at P5 and Lewis at P4, uh oh 😉
Looks like Vettel needed to watch out for Max. I thought Kvyat was an aggressive dive bomber but Mad Max is worse.

He would’ve won it, if he had Ricciardo’s patience... So sad

That's why I don't think he will ever win a WDC if he doesn't mature and drive smarter. Makes too many stupid mistakes instead of playing the long game.

If he gets to drive F1 till his thirties, I’m sure he’ll mature, but right now he’s just too wild, hope Christian Horner will be able to mature him

Great race today. Congrats to team Red Bull and Daniel, he must be the nicest driver on the circuit and we get to see another shoey! Also makes things tighter at the top of the driver leaderboard.

Also, respect to Vettel for his reaction after the race, could have roasted Max but remained very mature.

That was a lot of fun to watch!
Impressive pit stops from Red Bull too. Daniel was awesome, gives Max something to think about, he could/should have won this race with a bit more patience.
Hamilton is just a whiny little kid whenever things don't go his way🍿

agreed, i almost fell asleep before the safety car, then it got real interesting! that was a really nice double stack from red bull too, and insane driving by daniel. Kimi also did pretty well for how bad Ferrari kept screwing him.

Well that certainly picked up towards the end . Loved Alonso sticking it to Vettel. IMHO thought VES was a little caught out in that corner, went to be opportunistic but wasn't in the planning.

Haven't seen HAM after race comments yet, am guessing it's not positive.
