Hope Max will do exceptionally well 馃榾

Have a feeling Stroll will dissappoint all the Canadian fans

He was already the first to tag the wall of champions.
Twas just a scuff though.

I'm wondering if, with the extra tyre girth and lean this year, we might see a few more wall bangers.

What a boring Canadian GP!

Overtaking with these cars seems near impossible. Let's hope for rain in the remaining races of this season.

Another one for the chop - or a significant track change. Very dreary.

Mercedes just doesn't have it together this year. Missed PU upgrade, botched strategy calls, can't get on top of their tire issues.

I don't see a Mercedes driver winning the WDC with the package that Ferrari has. Only thing Vettel needs to worry about is Ferrari's history of self imploding but if his lead is big enough that won't matter. If Kimi were actually more competitive, Ferrari should run away with the WCC.

Truly a boring race.....first couple of corners was interesting, rest was pretty damn dull.

Fluke of a boring race. Canada is generally one of the more exciting races. I think it was more due to the disparity of the 2 groups of cars currently. And the top 3 teams being evenly matched right now.

What I would love for the next spec is narrower cars with the same tires and refueling to make it more interesting.

Anyone else going to start (or continue) watching Formula E with the new cars this coming season?
I have ignored it till now but I think I will start getting more involved with that.

Something I don't get about that race (and probably F1 rules on safety car): they did 6 consecutive laps under the safety car, what's the point of this? Since there is no overtaking allowed, why keep the cars out? If they they were waiting for the rain to stop, why not just suspend the race like they did a while later?

restarting the cars is not exactly easy, and the loss of heat in the tires and brakes is worse then just lapping

Also, there's a time limit in which a race has to finish once the race starts. The Brazilian GP almost reached that time limit in 2016 with all of the rain stoppages and wrecks.
