This looks nice to me. I’m looking for one of these. Anyone have any concerns about it?

Three different subdial hands - I think...

The sub-dial hands are not all the same. The only original one is the "seconds" hand. The "minute" hand isn't gold from the looks of it, but matches the correct original style for the watch. I am not sure where the "hour" hand came from, but looks gold in the photos, but not correct original style for the watch.

Case was polished at the bottom lugs pretty good. Crown is not correct. Pushers look correct. Crystal has the Omega logo in the center. Dial looks good with no signs of touch ups. Hands look good and correct.

Photo of a correct reference taken from page 2 of this thread:

Zoomed in photo of the eBay watch:

If I am wrong with anything I have listed, I welcome corrections so I can learn so let me know!

Edit: Auction for above watch ended and sold at $4,227.65 (8/12/2019)

I would say incorrect sweeping hand and crown but only seen from its profile...

Thought it’s time to bump this thread and what’s better than a photo to do so?! 😀

Interesting, there is no lume on this dial 😕 or is it only not visible on the photograph?

I'm happy to wear my 145.016, serial 28.. from Oktober 1969. Perfect watch for my birthday.

Thoughts on the condition of this example? Looks pretty good to me; have my eye on it.

I think the orange sweeping hand is incorrect. Need some clearer pics to see the condition of the dial and case, hippocampus looks a bit worn.

Think the sweeping hand looks a bit thin?

That sweeping is wrong. Frequently seen (wrong as well) on the yellow gold variations.

I am not sure the research thread is the right place to ask for assessment for one particular (common) watch - please open a dedicated thread next time 😉

I know this has the wrong hands, but I think the Speedmaster hands look pretty good? Sorry maybe not research.

Saw this on ebay a couple of weeks ago, my opinion on this is that all of those hands are too long for this dial. The tips are well out of the minute track... 😀

BTW, looking closer at this dial, I have a strong feeling it is relumed... ::stirthepot::

Does anybody know if the 145.006/016 (steel) models ever came on a bracelet at all? The gold version is the only one I have ever seen with proper end links, and an Omega bracelet/endlink ref table I have*, while being very complete, does not mention Ref 145.006 nor 145.016.

The case looks very close to the 176.007 and 145.029 cases, where a 1170/653 fits. Did anybody ever try?

Ok, figures it would be a ref even harder to source than that 1170/653 for my 20cm wrist 😁
