·For sale comes a beautiful radial Seamaster Chronograph powered by the famous calibre 321.
I unclutter and raise funds to acquire the real estate we've been renting for years now : another rare variation of the radial Seamaster comes up for sale.
So what do we have here? An all original 145.006 in a great conservation condition. If you like this watch, have a look at the 145.006 / 145.016 Research Thread for more infos about this product line from the late 1960s.
The dial has no damage and the lume (obviouly tritium) is intact. The hands also have a tritium lume and present a beautiful patina. A part of the lume track on the hour hand fell off - I am not a relume guy so I don't touch that. Considering the small lume surface, I think it's an easy thing to have this done but I wouldn't. The blue chrono hand is original on the 321 on the late 321 variations like this one, some additional charm.
Ω Logo clearly visible on the crystal.
That case is great. It is totally unpolished and different styles of original finish are present/intact.
The caseback is also in a perfect condition, correct reference engraved inside.
The hard to source 1116 (11) bracelet with unobtainium 548 end-links, perfect condition, good up to a 19,5cm wrist.
According to the Extract from Omega Archives, the watch was produced on November 15, 1968 and delivered to Mexico.
The movement was freshly serviced by Romain from www.atelier-h13.ch and is good for a while. The 12 months of mechanical warranty will be transferred to the buyer. Please note that it's a vintage watch and its water resistance was not tested and is not guaranteed. The reason for this is the wish to preserve the original pushers and crown. The buyer has to be aware of that and wear the watch with that in mind.
To recap :
- All original and quite rare variation of cal.321 "Radial" Seamaster on the 1116/548 bracelet in a great condition
- Fresh from service / mechanical guarantee
- Extract from the Omega Archives
- CONDITION ( ! )
What you see is what you get.
