Thanks! Dibs noted.
I assume the good condition comes from these watches having been worn by bridge personnel on navy ships.
As such they would not see much physical labor.
Cheers!
Still playing around with the iPhone "Depth Effect" Beta. It's cool but hard to get good wrist shots with for two reason. First you need to be far enough away for it to work. And just far enough to work is just far enough to not see all the details of the watch. Second it has trouble with aperture and balancing drastic lights and darks. Second pic is with the effect and a little editing to try and see the details of the watch.
No new watch to share, just the usual Polerouter (Cal. 138). Wanted to post, however, to express solidarity with our Swedish members, whose Royal Castle is apparently haunted. News of this spectral development has reached Canada. I take comfort in the Queen's assessment that her ghoulish cohabitants are, in fact, friendly.
Last purchase of 2016, just arrived Tuesday. Unfortunately already had dibs called on it by my wife. Bought from a forum member after i saw he was selling it on eBay. Difficult to photograph the beautiful dial.
