I sort of fall for these every time I see one of them. It ties in with so many things, so well. Beautiful.

Took a chance on this 1966 561 Connie a few years back and paid about £550 on eBay plus postage and tax.

With the help of @kaplan, sourced correct hands a new crystal and a bracelet and service and sold on the incorrect hands.

A labour of love but happy with it now 🤞

I had to get a left rear molar removed last November. Filling fell out and some of the tooth broke off. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced. Said I could reschedule and get work done on it, but I said just pull it and I was out of there in about 30 minutes. Numbed it up pretty good, still felt it a bit, though. Went to a dentist for the first time in a very, very long time last week and it went well. No major issues, no cavities, x-rays look good, good gums, some tartar. Told to keep up with what I'm doing, but I do need to start coming regularly and I plan to.
Lucky you, I didn’t fare well avoiding the dentist but last year I had a series of unexpected surgeries that put everything on the back burner. I ended up with a bit of surgical ptsd couldn’t even contemplate a dental cleaning but I now have all the hardware in for my first implant. As a PSA a mix of Motrin and Tylenol work well as they work two different brain chemicals but these damn anti biotics kill me. I can’t find one that doesn’t impact me negatively. Anyway hopefully my story has made someone avoid putting off dental checkups cause damn that was painful

My Seiko 7009-818LR on these straps I just made with RMG Pomari calf leather. Still need to edge paint and stitch though.

Got home went to help a friend pack and ship watches for repair. More of an excuse to meet up tbh. Changed to a Seiko and Mrs walrus requested pumpkin bread today.

It takes a while to mow this grass...I've been at it since noon. But it's done now!
