Thanks! I haven't seen this matt like dial, only sunburst finish, so I wasn't sure it was original, but now I've compared it to my railroad connie and it has the same finish, I quite like it.

路Going out for a wedding dinner tonight. In Singapore, Rolex tends to be the watch of choice at such dinners, but I'm going to go vintage tonight.
My son was intrigued by the Connie, tried it, and correctly deduced the dial was dodecagonally shaped. Someday this will be yours, son!

I can help with that one. The Blue Mountains occasionally get a light/medium snowfall. My father lived up there for 15 years and I remember the excitement of playing in the snow on a handful of occasions ( though I have to confess, I haven't been there in many years).
