Sorry late come back to this thread - been a busy day. Surprised no one from Oz answered this, but these are chocolate covered aniseed rings. They seem to be a specifically Australian thing. So a chewy licorice rings coated in chocolate. I get these sent every year for my birthday, and of course I eat a bunch every time we visit. Switching to this watch for the evening. Still don't regret buying it (last year), even though it's a bit out of my normal scope of things, and it was (relatively) cheap.
Barn find...40 bucks! Reminds me so much of the watch my dad wore. BTW- does anyone else like to wear these flex bracelets reversed (watch head facing in)?? I like wearing this one "lefty" on my right wrist...
