I was tempted to start a thread on this.
As we're approaching the Christmas period, who else in the UK spent a huge amount of time in their younger years ogling the Argos catalogue, creating their lists from it?
During a highly productive procrastination session I came across the Argos archive:
http://argosbookofdreams.co.uk/
And found this:

Which i worked and saved up for and wanted more than arms and legs, and here it is today on jumps skids and wheelies duty:

1969 Waltham chrono -full lume indexes, hours bezel, Valjoux 7736 (custom vintage watch)
nice but in this thread, aren't you supposed to take a photo of you actually wearing it? :-P

Here’s a photo of the watch in daylight. Last night’s photo, with the yellow light of an old fashioned light bulb, just doesn’t do it for me.

Besides, it’s true — I’ve fallen in love with this silly watch. Now, I’ve had other loves in the past, and I’m sure this love will eventually be superseded by some watch I haven’t seen yet, but still — I’m basking in the warmth of it on my wrist.

Yes, the heat of the plexi is unique

Took the kids on a “Polar Express” tour of our city’s capital building last night. Wore my Pelagos, which has largely replaced my Seiko SKX & Turtle as my go to weekend wear. Still wearing the Tudor this AM.

Note: Not all of these kids are mine 😀
