I bought my literal dream-watch from a goodfella who is is retiring from this crazy watch collecting racket for >5 % of her actual value under the promise that I'll give her to my son. I will certainly honor that request.

Think I might be done?

That's incredible. Your son must be proud to receive such honor.

Thank you. It's emotionally confusing but this "good 'ole boy" is sick and I guess family is his watch family. Shows you how powerful thispassion can be...

Sadly the last time it will be worn also. 🙁 It's going up for sale too.

First Camelia flowering in the garden this year 😀 and for good measure some cross hairs - a good weekend to one and all 👍

Don't feel like a traitor - I have one just the same. It's a fine example of the guillochier's art (or something like that spelling)

First "Connie" for me. Just picked this up 1 hour ago. $1800 poorer but much happier from the more than excellent deal. Immaculate movement and spotless original deluxe Türler-dial. Never thought I would wear an 18k watch but it feels kind of good 🙄 Feel all grown up 😀

Very nice - quintessential dress watch from the 60's and probably one of the most iconic dial styles. Be warned... This won't be your last! 😁
