="Kommis, post: 14568, member: 509"]OK, you're just teasing me 🥰

="Kommis, post: 14568, member: 509"]Absolutely not. If this were the case then I apologize deepest and promise to never show any Omega from the 40's or 50's again ...

I bet.

Ok, I can see why your selling your Seamaster PP. You are wearing this entirely too much. You're going to have the damn thing scratched and beat by the time I get it .😡

Here's a little a something I scored from a Silver Surfer comic a few years ago. I added the JB Champion band. I've decided to collect these one jewel "chronographs" with the R. Lapanouse movements. They have a certain 60s/70s charm. I think George Clooney wears Lucerne?

It concerns me when I see a watch with the makers name displayed so prominently as to eclipse anything else the watch might have to offer. I suppose it makes me wonder IF the watch has anything else to offer. I think they are called designer watches? Louis Vuitton is an excellent example: luggage made of thin leather bonded to canvas with LV stamped on every square centimeter. And I'm not referring to my beautiful Lucerne, by the way. The makers name on it is rather understated. Very tasteful, right?

Preachin' to the choir. Honestly, I haven't worn anything other than my frankenPanda since I got it finished. The other watches I just put on for a quick photo. Am I a bad person? And it should be noted that Chinchilla's is an ACTUAL limited edition, unlike the one I had assembled with the ABnormal brain and a bolt of lightning.

Here is one more bastard from early 70s. Found it last year in a vintage shop in Germany. Never used (NOS). So ugly that it is charming

Kommis, that's the spirit. I don't think they used the same movement, but that's the same price point, I'm sure. Actually, I think your watch may be a notch or two above the Lapanouse models. I've seen the movements in watches by at least half a dozen makers, and they all have the same two subdials on the left side of the watch. They also cannot be reset to zero. The top button stops the sweep hand and the bottom starts it. The subdials also cannot be reset. But I like yours...maybe have to start searching for that brand as well.

One of my go to beaters. Can't wear anything nice at work or it will get destroyed.

Switched to this tonight.

And exactly how long have you had that?
Actually almost five months, but I just started really wearing it now that it's back from service. I only wore it once after I bought it (from Kyle) before I sent it out.
I've been slacking in my Forum duties by not posting pictures sooner. Sorry folks!
I'll try to post some more pics, it is my first Omega.
