This is my Dads Omega Geneve Automatic. He wore this every day whilst I was growing up. Talking to my mum last week, she thinks he had it when they met in 1972, but is certain he bought the milanese bracelet on honeymoon on Malta in August 1974. In her words "it had the blue leather crocodile or alligator strap on it... it was rather dog eared... and gone... well... it didn't smell great". This is the watch that got me interested in watches, and because my dad had an Omega, he bought me an Omega my my own as a 21st birthday present. Brand loyalty runs deep... even if I can't afford the new goodies that Omega sell these days.
