II that the model with the compass behind the head of the watch?
I mentioned in on the incoming, but the links on the bracelet are each exactly 5 mm wide, and the clasp has a quick release on it so you can undo it and lay it flat on a map to measure distance. quite the gimmick watch!
Got a call from the OB this morning. Offered to sell me a Snoopy (MSRP $7300). Passed lead on to another member here. I am a speedy Kool aid drinker, but Snoopy is the equivalent of strawberry flavored Kool aid, does nothing for me.
Arm workout day. Man it looks huge in the picture but not on my 7.5 inch wrist. I find myself wearing this one less and less. I love the watch but I grab my speedy pro or SKX009 more often then not. I wear it so rarely I took it off the winder which makes it worn even less.
A shameless hussy!
A 1959 Seamaster with 520 movement and an obvious redial. Sees regular use, but rarely shows up here on the Forum. Non-watch people notice it and it receives more favorable comment than any other watch here. Probably is an indication that I ought to ditch it. The 520 movement sounds like a thrashing machine, a characteristic unlike any other Omega here, but the watch is very accurate.
