An old favourite today. Resurrected ten years ago, I can hardly believe it! This watch spent about 40 years (or perhaps even longer) in pieces, in a lozenge tin along with numerous other Omega bumper automatic movement parts. All disassembled. One day, I got a call from a watchmaker friend, asking me if I had a centre wheel for an Omega calibre 351. I had one for him. I discovered this well preserved hobnail, date at 6 dial among those parts. Further examination revealed I had ALL the parts for this calibre 355 movement in that tin! I resurrected the movement. I needed a case for it. Omega board member
@Tritium from Madrid, Spain, had one. Two months later, I was able to complete the watch as you see it. It is about 70 years old, this year. An excellent performer with a new mainspring, case clamp, clean up some minor rust, and recondition.
@Tritium has dibs on this one, but hopefully, that is a few years off.
