Spent the day working on the car so no watch. All done now and time to kick back and enjoy the fruits of my labour and no better way than with the BM LE and my little mate Ziggy馃榾

Finally found a lovely JB Champion mesh. It's sat in a drawer for almost 50 years I think. It came in the original presentation box with tags, just as we like them 馃榾. Excuse the paint on my arms, i've been painting a house (not with this on btw).

Enjoying the last Friday in my three week long summer holiday... This week has been all about relaxation (and some pesky house improvement, yuk!) and tomorrow we're going to attend the Vraa exhibition, which is one of the highlight of our cultural calendar and something I look forward to every year 馃榾
http://vraa-udstillingen.dk/
The previous week I attended the 100th anniversary of the International 4 Days Nijmegen Marches, which is four days of 40 kms marches combined with a lot of drinking and partying. Amazingly, after four beers you completely forget about being exhausted, your blisters are a thing of the past and you just want to go dancing the entire night! The next day you regret it, naturally 馃槈 This year the main challenge was the weather. Heatwave for three days and then pouring rain the fourth. Here's an example of what 100+ kms of marching does to your feet, if you're not prepared (warning: not for the faint of heart...).
I wore my Speedmaster the entire week, the chronograph was useful for timing rests and the like. Had I worn a watch with a leather band, it would have disintegrated...

I have to say that the Dutch must be the friendliest, most welcoming people on Earth. An event like this could never be held in Denmark, but in The Netherlands it's just right. Lovely people, pretty girls 馃榿

Now, back in Denmark, it's time to vary the watch selection some more. I think it'll be a few weeks before I use wear the Speedmaster again!

Today I wore the 2892 Seamaster (for the last time, as I've just moved it on) and the LeCoultre Automatic. Absolutely love this one 馃榾

End of the day, swapping the MkII for my only waterproof watch - not a diver - the Citizen Altichron
