The basic coffee (they referred to it as Americano) was brewed one cup at a time in contrast to the pour-direct-from-caraffe technique more commonly used in NA.

We call that "fresh"

This for the morning until the housework starts. Think I need a maid so that I don't waste time cleaning and can dedicate more time to watches馃檮馃う

An "Americano" is a shot of espresso with hot water added after brewing. If the water isn't added afterwards, but instead pulled through the espresso machine in one go, it's a "Caff茅 Lungo", which isn't as nice, as a lot of the bitter components of the coffee grounds are extracted into the coffee, which isn't the case when the brewing process is shorter.

Fantastic watch! I love the unusual hour markers! I have a thing for textured dials.
What case reference and caliber is this and how jumbo is it?

Tropical dialed member of the Wolfpack on my wrist today.

Nice watch yourself!

Mine's a Cal 354 bumper from 1952 with a case ref of 2494-4/2657

It measures around 36.5mm excluding the crown, obviously hardly a 'jumbo' by today's standards but seems to wear a lot bigger than my standard Seamasters

Could be hitting the Private sales forum in a couple of weeks if I can finally make my mind up to let a few watches go to fund a 'new' Omega!
