Found this old 1938 Omega scarab today, I forgot just how mint condition the enamel dials stay if they don't get broken. Makes it look brand new.

Details:
Omega "Scarab" ref. CK 615, 32mm, 1938, 26.5 SOB T2

A little bit of dust on it and it needs a service because it hasn't been wound in over 10 years. I forgot just how gorgeous the old enamel dials were!

Oh my. That is lovely.

So it's been in a box somewhere for 10 years and you didn't realize it?

I have about 200 more I haven't unpacked yet from 35 years of impulse buys and watch hoarding 馃ぃ, maybe 150 of them are vintage Omega if I remember correctly? I usually wear them for a while and Squirrel them away but I'm finally sorting them at the moment.
Anything cool I find I'll put up for sale here because the boss wants me to clear out the ones I don't wear.

Mostly watches, but I do have bags of gemstones as well after years of refining gold from broken antique jewellery. I have no idea what most of them are but I do know there is a good handful of diamonds, sapphires, star sapphires, some rubies, some emeralds, a few hundred natural pearls etc.

Wow! That's amazing. I hope you get to go through it all satisfactorily. As I get older, one of my fears is that after I die family will just come in and throw everything in a bin. Trying to make sure I sell enough to have a good time and leave a few precious heirlooms behind.
