Arrived at the office this morning to find this ready for unpacking. If you've seen my wruw posts, you'll know this is a bit of a departure for me, but I couldn't help myself.

Brand is Berthoud which I believe has some connection to Universal Geneve, but I haven't been able to dig out much yet.

Seller dated it to t '30s. 39mm case, 19mm at the lug with
AS handwind movement, with 15 jewels. It's quite nice to wear, and it was c.h.e.a.p.

This was the first watch I bought when I joined the forum a little over 2 years ago from one of the members here at the time.

I only wanted one watch, one to wear on a daily basis, why would I ever need more than that?

Now 2 years on and 12 watches later I often ask, 'how the bloody hell did that happen'?
