I bought this 1970 ref 135.070 last year as a eBay Recommended Vintage. Sold it, then happily bought it back.

Made these straps with Degermann Baranil leather but a little too plain so back to the drawing board.

Not actually wearing this one, today. For two reasons, actually. First, Rolex calls this style a woman鈥檚 watch, and it is not something I would even wear to test it! It has been adjusted to fit a woman鈥檚 wrist, so there is no way I could wear it. It was brought to me by a friend for reconditioning, a task I completed, today. The movement is a 31-jewel, calibre 3135. I don鈥檛 know how long she has owned, it but it has 3 Rolex (Canada) repair numbers in it. All in all, it is in nice condition, with the exception of a number of very tiny chips on the surface of the synthetic sapphire crystal. The 50 diamonds are all nicely matched full cut stones, about 0.02 (2 points) each, adding up to about one carat total weight. I showed it to my better half tonite, telling her it was not her Mother鈥檚 Day gift. She was glad of that as she said she wouldn鈥檛 wear such a gawdy watch!
