One of my top 3. I know its not for everyone, but for me this is my go to Seamaster. Wonderful day in San Diego, it will help dry us out.
This week I will try out a new type of woven Nylon ("Perlon") strap made in Germany by loop bracelet. The watches will vary, the strap will not, currently it is available in one color and in one size only. Here is a Heuer Autavia ref. 73663 (pilot's style) driven by a Valjoux cal. 7736 movement. Cheers, Mick
Today...making the donuts (Mad Dog needs a Zenith El Primero auto with the cool multi-color minutes sub-dial) with the fantabulous Speedy Gonzales...
Just for a change, today. Delving into the collection, I came up with my Hamilton Kirby, 19-jewels, cal. 982 (introduced circa 1931, made until circa 1953), this one from circa 1950. Completely original, except for the bracelet. And my Bulova Academy Award, 21-jewels, cal. 7AK, re-done dial, later Fixo-Flex bracelet. Which one to wear! So nice to have a choice!
Currently at DD in LGA (NYC) with Speedy Gonzales...thinking about doing a strap change...I have the technology.
Welcome to town! Every now and then when the winds/conditions are right, I have a decent view of the Runway 04 approach from the subway station in the morning. I'll give the next couple 80s I see a thumbs-up
