Something a bit more ordinary. Wore one of my exotics for a few days, but at the risk of harming it doing "scut" work, I opted for this railroad approved Bulova (an actual SWISS made ETA 955 version) from 2008 with the 24-hour Canadian dial. Railroad wrist watches with luminous dials were only permitted in this last decade or so, the railroads feeling there was a risk that the luminous material would come loose and stop the watch.
Last night at a wedding. Decent food and cheap scotch but Speedy on a Stevo strap and deploy made up for the cheap booze. Cheers!
Today a watch that both winds itself and indicates the date. That probably sounded cooler in the 40's.
Vintage Zenith El Primero Diver / Pilot with 3019 PHC and 0-60 bezel with only 505 pieces made. I love the contrast of the big case and the dial which is absolutely filigree.
