It’s almost one I have already dealt with a case of water intoxication and a poor guy who has the souls of 3,000 dead people attacking a tendon in his knee. I need a friggin vacation or medication. I do have a seiko at least

Hey Walrus, your Seiko is brilliant! love the proportion and the color! I was going to pull the trigger when they came out. Now I am glad that I didn’t. Otherwise, yours won’t be as unique around here and I won’t be paying attention to your posts as much.😁

I’ve been very good over the last few years. Several out and then a 1 in 1 out policy but since May I’ve bought a white dial Seamaster, then the GS I posted yesterday and now this. First modern Rolex I’ve owned since 2011.
Case profile and height are a breath of fresh air.
Very happy with my 3rd purchase in a few months.

My 70 year old Laco sends salutations. This one has a German made movement by Durowe. Notice the dial and movement are marked Foreign. In many European countries and the Americas after WW2 there were bitter feelings toward Germany and German products. Laco and was a major supplier to German military during WW2. Durowe was bought by Timex in the late 1950s.

A pair of Accutron 214 Railroad models today. Preparing for a railroad standard Watch & clock exhibit at our local historic park. Approximately 100 railroad standard pocket & wrist watches, and railroad standard clocks. All exhibit items operational. Batteries for the electric and quartz watches. The one on the left is from 1966, and the other from 1967. Twins!
