An ideal opportunity to air out my 1972 (52 years old this year) Rolex Air-King Date. When I laid eyes on it this morning, the calendar was at 28! An easy choice. Set it back 36 hours, and Bob’s your uncle, it’s on my wrist. I added a genuine NOS Rolex 14-karat bezel I’ve had for over 30 years, to make it my “Golden Anniversary” Rolex. That was back in 2022. After-market bracelet. Being Tuesday, I might have chosen my Speedmaster 345.0808, but I knew these would be well represented, today. Besides, I’d worn my Speedmaster reduced for a week, and I was ready to wear a calendar watch again.

Heading to FL tomorrow morning, the F-Pace is all packed. Stop in Hagerstown tomorrow night, Orangeburg, SC Sa

I have the same socks, lol. Got them in VT. I'm still rockin' that Combat Sub. 👍
Safe travels!

Please post the combat sub… perhaps on the beach again?? 🥰

It’s one of those watches I thought I should’ve kept, but I still get to enjoy it vicariously through you!

They’re killer socks fo-sho.. 😜

Thanks for posting the “combat sub”. It brought back memories of working the shooting range.

I'd hate to have to sort that pile of cartridge cases by caliber and brand! But, as a old handloader I'd do it if that's the way I received the batch.
