I joined OF some 5 years ago to find a Seamaster, ended up with a Speedmaster, and somehow still haven't left. To commemorate this obviously monumental occasion, here is the advert that sparked my interest in watches - torn out of a National Geographic some 25 years ago - , along with my first real watch (the Speedmaster) and the watch pictured in the advert that I didn't actually end up buying until much, much later.

I鈥檓 actually not much of a James Bond fan, but I did own a few Planet Oceans that I believe were featured in some of the Daniel Craig Bond films. That said, Golden Eye is one of my all time favorite movies.
