Had a dude who’s old school homeless play this today for everyone. He had a 70’s fender acoustic just busted it out after dinner. Usually people just listen to the song and clap for fun, I think he had half the place in tears. Had to look up the song I wasn’t familiar with it. Had meaning to his audience

Exelent! I really enjoyed the richness of voices of the quartet, usualy its just a soprano or a tenor singing Ave Maria. Thanks for posting.

I know he had a respected career and following but criminally underrated in his guitar chops. You can’t practice and get that good it’s a gift. Like Ted Williams hitting a baseball you can’t get that good if you aren’t born with it. It used to piss me off playing with people who had perfect pitch or were just naturals I had to practice daily to keep up with them, never surpass now I have respect for them and their gift and I’m glad they let me play and pick things up.

I remember an article where George Harrison was asked where he rates himself as a guitar player, he said “I’m mediocre I don’t practice at all.” Damn dude didn’t need to practice. Ha ha. Music itself is such a gift, I think it’s the only art form that completely takes me out of myself, and I mean listening not playing.

I wasn’t a big Waylon jennings fan but went to see him as he was playing local. Talk about rabid followers they drank every beer and bottle in the old theatre. Bartenders had to serve everything warm they ran out of ice and cold beer it’s normally a place that does plays and mellow concerts. I think Waylon did more drugs and drank more than human around but omg does he make it look easy, a true natural.
