At what may have been the height of his addiction jerry plays this sweet Peggy-O with such feeling in the solo. He was losing himself to the drugs but damn that may be one of his best Peggy-O

Cool a church I attend is being investigated for a recent miracle. I do believe the big guy sends us messages. However it turns out kinda cool to be part of. Got me thinking of this Dylan tune

Got myself on a Dylan kick as I paint. 500 songs written over 60 years covered by 2,000 artists and he writes a 45 line ballad of majestic lyrics that may be about the world going to hell in a bucket, who else can do it?

Somehow missed this when it came out last year - loved this band in the 90's, and they can still rock!

Heard snatches of it today on the car radio so had to come home and spin a CD to hear the entire symphony.

It’s hard to believe these guys created this music. Seems otherworldly. Beethoven cutting off the legs of his piano putting his head to the floor to feel the vibrations as he wrote. I laughed when you said you heard it in the car, I can’t listen to classical while driving I find myself driving outrageous speeds. This music will still be listened to in another 300 years if we don’t blow ourselves up

We generally rock out to our classic rock in the car because the dynamics of classical music frequently vary so much. I find myself constantly adjusting the volume to try to keep up when classical is playing. With classic rock it's adjust volume and done.

We both do love classical just as much if not more than we do our classic rock.

Blasted "Helter Skelter" last weekend during a trip up to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Except for the fad near the ending, it was easy to hear.

Happy Easter everyone

Got my eldest son and his lady tickets to see PMJ in NYC last Christmas. A good time was had by all. Quirky and talented.
