I'll have to search around and see if the Mono was a dedicated mix, 1967-68 was just about the tipping point from mono to stereo full time. I was shocked to stumble across a UK copy 10-15 years ago and didn't know about a mono.
Jack Bruce is an amazing bass player. The Cream songs would sound a lot more ordinary without him in the mix. .
Because he brought his jazz background with him whereas most of his contemporaries came only from a blues background I think.
I used to watch "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." all the time as a kid. Same with "The Avengers" and "The Saint". .
UK 1st press Stereo.....1st matrix and stamper found at a local used record store about 12 years ago.
A compilation double album that’s fully Loaded , with a selection of most of my favourite songs from the 90s .
In 1982 Orange Juice performed a fantastic album with singer Edwyn Collins. The band forged a completely new sound based on their preferences for Velvet Underground and Soul. In addition to ABC's Lexicon of Love (released 82 too), "You can't hide your love forever" is for me THE pop album of the eighties. A really timeless album that I love just as much today as I did then.
