One of the things I like to do is search for early songs that famous bands have made.
For example, here is an early Beatles song you don't hear very often.
This is a live recording in 1963 of "I'm Talking About You" from the BBC Radio show "Saturday Club".

The song was originally written and released by Chuck Berry in 1961.
The Beatles' version of the song was part of the live performances in 1962 when the Beatles played at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany.
It was never put on any of the regularly-released Beatles albums.

I like the simplicity of this song and the fact that almost any garage band could play it.
Would it sound as good as the Beatles' version?
No, only if they had the vocals of John Lennon, the bass playing of Paul McCartney, the guitar of George Harrison, and the drum beat of Ringo.

Give it a quick listen and let me know what you think.

Hi,
I think this rock n roll title has its charm and I like it more than a lot of the soft things that the Beatles did until 1965.
I'm a fan of the songs starting with the 66麓er Revolver album when they got more progressive.

Mick Rock's film from The Friar's Club in Ayelsbury and audio from the Santa Monica Civic? Sublime.

and finally
I like the music of Steve Earle and appreciate his political attitude, which is expressed in many of his songs.

No , just some of the Beatles singles I鈥檝e picked up over the years . I don't actually know how many I have but have some several times , I just can鈥檛 help myself when I see one in great condition.
