Having discovered that I can actually get liquor delivered in Virginia, I may have gotten a little trigger happy after a drink or two last week. So I will be trying at least one of these out tonight. 😁

From March to early June, I couldn't drink as I was on antibiotics, which obviously sucked (my liver was thankful for the rest though). Luckily, I was cleared to drink just in time for my Tokyo trip. After I hung out with Jordan and Andre (https://omegaforums.net/threads/when-3-guys-from-of-met-tokyo-pic-heavy.59443/#post-738492), I met up with one of my wino friends based in Tokyo. We first checked out Izakaya Vin, which is a great resto in Shibuya that has an awesome wine list. Their wine by the glass offerings were awesome. We chose a couple of Burgs:

My friend and I then moved to PB, a small vinyl record bar in Nishiazabu Roppongi for some beer. These bars are typical in Tokyo, small, cozy, with the owner serving you drinks while he DJs.

That night's music playlist was all over the back wall. My friend said, "I think tonight's theme is men with coats and jackets" 😜

We ended the night at another wine bar, the famous Elevage, also at Roppongi:

We had this wonderful Krug:

Not a bad way to return to drinking!

What a superb night! Your trip is reminding me of many a crazy night/weekend pre-kids! 50% of me is jealous as anything, the other 50% says I wouldn't have come through my thirties with the same liver if that had continued!😀
