Will an old dial fit the new Speedy 3861?

I am thinking about modding my speedy 3861 the same way I did on my old cal 1861.
So, does anyone know if a dial that fitted the 1861 will fit the new 3861? And will the hands?

Aiming for something like this:

I'd love to know this as well. I am waiting for my 3861 to arrive and I think i'll enjoy it for a little while but have always lusted over a white dial or panda dial but in the new spec watch. Modifications will scare away some owners who are purists or worried about resale value, but those things dont worry me. Heck I even would love to replace the bezel with a ceramic bezel if it was possible

I think what @ducatiti meant in his post was to leave the original step up dial on your new 3861. ... 馃榾

Don't know about the dial or main hands, but I know the subdial hands will definitely not fit. See:

The older movement uses 3 different size posts for the sundials; the new one is all one size.

Not a fan of paying big money for a new watch, then spending a lot of money to make it look completely different AND void the warranty. But to each their own.

That鈥檚 certainly possible. Part can be ordered by any willing watchmaker with Omega parts account. Prepare to pay something in the range of 250 euro, though.
