Does this thread make anyone else think it would be a cruel joke to start yet another OF watch mystery logo thread but use photoshop to create a company logo no one has ever seen before?

No? Just me?

😀

...not quite that, but thought it might be good fun to post a WTB with @PlainVanilla ’s photoshop job from the previous page.

I have to admit I'm guilty whenever this thread comes up with new posts that I'm hoping someone says "I found the logo!".

I, like many others on here, have spent too much time on google search looking for the OP's logo.

This is one of those mysteries I hope eventually gets solved.

Between this and @WYO_Watch ’s Speedmaster thread, we could make a compelling pilot for Unsolved Mysteries: OF Edition. I bet Netflix would be eager to finance such a series.

Damn that was scary! I’m here watching the evening news, 2305 local time... Loud knock on the front door. There’s two guys in black suits, sunglasses, fedoras...

Guy just looks at me and says, “Stop looking. You’re in way over your head.”

Just as he turns to walk away, I realize they both have a lapel pin on their jackets.

Omenai is predominantly a Nigerian surname. That could point towards an oil (or oil services) company in that part of the world.

Or the member of the previous royal family that wants my bank info to deposit 30 million dollars 😁

Another approach is to try and get the movement number and request an extract of the archives; if you know where it was first sold that might narrow the search down a bit.
This?? 😕🍿

At this point we should all buy this watch together and organise a competition so the person who finds the origin of this logo wins the watch.

Hard to organize, but worth a try!

If I was Pedro, being the team player that I am and all, I would be willing to let it go for this fun exercise at around $6800 😁

So based on that other watch, and the Omenai last name being Nigerian typically, I went through the livery of every airline in Africa yesterday, which conveniently is cataloged here:

https://airlinecolorschemes.wordpress.com/

If nothing more, I learned there are WAY more airline companies in the world than I ever would have imagined. After I struck out with Nigeria, and the rest of Africa, I moved on to looking around the rest of the world. I didn't go through everything, because there are 2400 of them, but looked at a bunch.
