Arthur Prince was a British ventriloquist, who had his figure buried with him. Weird, but no real value to anyone else.

Charles Bronson supposedly had his wife's remains (Jill Ireland) buried with him. Touching, but again, no real value to anyone else.

However, if you were to request to be buried with a valuable timepiece rather than bequeath it to a relative or charity, I would submit that you have some moral soul-searching to do.

If you choose cremation, Timex, Invicta, or if you choose to reduce "residue" after the process, any wooden watch! 😁

I'd probably buy an apple watch on my death bed for this purpose. The mechanicals would be on the wrists of the living.
