Hi, an urge to add a Panerai in My collection keeps surfacing off and on. Now again I've an opportunity to add with PAM 424 or PAM 610 at decent price. Since I'm new to the brand I hereby request the Paneristis to please help me take a call. Your comment and opinion would be much appreciated. Regards

They're very different looks, so it depends on which speaks to you more. Personally, I've always loved the Cali dial.

Thank you dear. Since my wrist size is just under 7", I was wondering if 47mm would be good on wrist. I can't try now as we're under Lockdown. Regards

If I was buying a PAM I would want the latch on the crown.
I can see the first two crowns getting snagged on something.

(Probably Just my weird brain being a fisherman and stuff getting caught on braided fishing line)

I have a 7 1/8" wrist, a 47MM Panerai was way too big for me. I settled on the PAM 682, which is 42MM and fits my wrist perfectly.

Here's what it looks like next to a Speedy.

If radiomir, i’d go for the simple black seal.

If luminor, i’d go for the simple base 000 model.

Pam 610 gets my vote. The design is pure Panerai DNA. The Cali 424 with the date just looks off...
If you are worried about 47mm being too big, how about the Pam 190? It's 45mm, gold + blue hands, and winding the JLC movement is pure blissss!

I'm inclined to take 372 being best watch with authentic Panerai DNA. The only apprehension is that it may not look odd on my 7" wrist in normal wear.
I'd appreciate comments from the owners of 372 or other 47mm Paneristis to help me. Regards

I like the first one better. Dial is more unique.

Paneristis would strongly oppose it being a sacrilege, date and logo both on otherwise vintage style dial... Totally unacceptable.

Here's a pic of the 190.

I love this watch.

It checks off all my Panerai favorite attributes:
Radiomir
Small seconds
Sandwich Dial
