This is a screen shot from early in top gun. It's the scene where maverick lands on the carrier but decides to take off instead to help cougar land. In the rest of the film, maverick wears a Porsche Design Orfina 7176s, but this is clearly not that watch. Anybody know what watch this is in this scene? I think it's a Rolex Submariner but I'm not sure

I鈥檓 not sure I鈥檇 confirm it鈥檚 Porsche design... there are a lot of watches that look exactly like that from IWC, Sinn, and others.


Looks like a 5513 to me as well.

True that. Lejour makes the exact model right down to the same bracelet.

It looks a lot like a Sub, but there are any number of similar watches that might be it just as well. Just too blurry.

Looks like a 5513 to me as well.
Sorry I wasn't clear. Tom definitely wears a Porsche design throughout the film. The shot I shared was simply a wrist pulling a throttle. It's definitely not a Porsche and agree it's a Rolex 5513. The must have filmed an actual pilot performing several in cockpit shots.

Iceman wore a Pepsi Rolex.

Goose wore a casio or something lol
