Cross hairs go from edge to edge of the dial on dome dials and on pie pans cross hairs stop at the pie pan edge.
I found a similar one and that was a ref.2852 3SC
A watchmaker can open the caseback for you. Inside you will find the reference number.
The hands seem to be replacement ones or have been relumed. Considering the radium lumeplots on this are missing and would have developed a brownish color and not as green as on those hands.
The crown is atypical for this time and reference and a replacement crown as well.
The indices on yours look good and usual for this reference with that layout and style. The numerals look the same as well.
You can compare with this piece:
Thank you maumerstrubbi, I have asked the seller to do this for me. You are right, the crown is normally decagonal, however, some markets / models also received the round peripheral crown apparantly. Also asked if this is a 14k or an 18k case. What would you estimate the price on s conservative basis? Im a total amateur, apologies for the ignorance.
Firstly, regarding the crown - no they didn’t.
The crown should be the ‘fat’ decagonal crown - although there is some debate whether they may also have come with the Seamaster clover crown. (As they appear in adverts wearing cloverleaf crowns)
Obviously, the karat of the gold is very important but the case is very heavily polished and both the lugs and bezel have both lost their facets.
Black dials are notorious for being ‘tampered’ with - so much much better photos of the dial would be useful to assess it properly.

Which Omega constellation is this watch? The black cross hair and the arabic markers are unusual. The markers pointed on one end and flat on the other is also not common?

The amount of gold on this watch is around 25grams -> the asking price is roughly double the price of the gold amount on that watch. So I would say it’s priced way above what it’s worth.
If its 14k gold, the price of gold per your link is 2000 pounds? If its 18k the price is 2650? I did not follow how the 25 grams of gold in the watch would only cost 1500 GBP.
Folks, can I ask another question?
Black dials on pie pan are apparently about 9%, or rare, added to this js that this watch is either 14k or 18k solid gold, then there is the arabic numerals. Arent each of these three rare in itself? And considering this watch combines all three, does it make it worth it price?
All this is assuming the dial is original - I am awaiting more pictures from the seller, but wanted to gather your thoughts.
Thanks in advance.
