You can looking at me as long as you want. I have never sold a watch in my life!
I have my own highly qualified swiss watchmaker, I don't need any help and unqualified remarks. We are talking about Swiss precision quality and not about business.
I’m glad you enjoy them. I can see they bring you much happiness and good humor.

40 years ago, nobody interest for mechanical watches. The market was full and very cheap. Now it's just impossible to have a large Collection in highest quality.

Yes they are indeed. There are about 5 on page 1 of the private sales forum and more beyond. The interesting thing is that there are prices to suit all wallets.👍

When you say "not the quality", are you suggesting that our respected, fellow members are selling poor quality Omega Speedmasters or are you just pointing out that they may not all be 'collector' grade?
From what I can see, any issues that the watches may have are openly disclosed, by the vendor, on the sales forum under the gaze of the whole forum.

I would be interested to know what your motive is for making that unhelpful remark?😕

Are you saying they're not good quality ?

all what I say, it's not my quality ... no more and no less ...

I don't do any product qualification! You don't have to accuse me of anything - sorry.

"Prices suit all wallets" / "Quality does not".
I'm just trying to understand the message you're trying to convey ? I don't have watches for sale, but if I did I would like to understand the meaning of your comment, that's all.

Yes thankyou for that.... very helpful! 😕 Fortunately for us we have Speedmaster101.😉 Anyway, pleased to read that you have 2 boxes!... and I presume a different colour tea towel for the 861 watches???👍 Good to know you don't throw them all in the same box.😀

interesting slant this thread has taken. The inference is that the speedmasters are not up to @Magic_Omega 's standard.
... that's my familiy of caliber 321 Speedmaster ...
Lovely to see these watches all together, but if your comment:
😉 ... but not the quality ... 😉

Is to suggest that none of the watches on the FS forum are "Your Quality" then I think I would agree.
(Unless the photo of your watches is spectacularly unflattering)

(context) I have spent the whole evening critically analyzing a watch of mine for the greater good (most likely against my good)...

I took a look at your treasure box...congrats 👍 However, it took all of 5 seconds for something to jump out and hit me in the back of the eye-sockets (ignoring the incorrect bezels / washed dials).

With respect to all of your above mentioned comments regarding 'quality' and what's currently for sale, what exactly is/was this interesting piece in your box, and is this your quality?

- non-professional washed-of-all-lume dial (maybe has 't's)
- in a lyre-lug (professional) case
- with, what, later railmaster hour/min hands (too short to be 2998's)
- and a too short ultraman-style chrono hand

?

(If I had to hazard a guess I would say it was a 105.012 based on pushers, and maybe -63 with the benefit-of-the-doubt that the dial is original?)

Like I said. Nothing in the FS section matches his quality

You mean selling?
Bank wire and always buy the seller.
Never never PayPal unless it’s someone I’ve created a good relationship with or they have steller references and or have dealt with a buddy.
The community is small so everyone knows each other or knows someone who know someone for the most part
As a buyer I'm completely opposite. I won't even consider a bank wire; your reputation doesn't make up for hacked accounts and it's a decidedly one-sided transaction method. The only way I'd use wire transfers is with an escrow service, and those don't seem in vogue around here. I know sellers don't like PayPal, but I like it for some of the same reasons sellers don't like it; at least some form of buyer protection.

Now I know I'm tilting at windmills and it makes it harder to source watches. I've had to pass on watches here due to the wire transfer and my search for a tritium Speedmaster continues...
