Where have all the Van Cleef & Arpels gone?

I've been searching for several models, and there just don't seem to be any for sale on the forums.

Has anybody else noticed this? I can't find production figures, and I'm afraid I won't ever get one because you VC&A collectors hoard them forever.

With the increased cost of Faberge Eggs, I’ve had to switch to the offerings of VC&A.

They’re not as tasty, and harder to dip toast soldiers into, but needs must.

Sorry for being ignorant, but what is it that one buys at Van Cleef & Arpels? Apart from jewellery

    Watches of course! https://www.vancleefarpels.com/eu/en/collections/watches/charms.html

If you havn't seen a Van Cleef watch, I would recommend looking up the pont des amoureux. It has a rather romantic complication.

Glad someone out there are looking at VCA watches like I do. You must be a great fan of vintage Piagets and Chopards too!

They have all been snapped up by Bueche Girod collectors by mistake.

I still have a 1961 18ct Piaget caliber 9P (grandfather of the Altiplano), and one of my unscratched watch itches is a Chopard 1860.

But you know the pity is when I'm paid, I always follow my job through. You know that.

@ulackfocus, I just read the thread twice and I still can’t figure out if you are serious or not.
    Have a nice day.

We had some new neighbours move in down the street a while back. One of them is Lance and he is originally from Ohio. Very nice guy and enjoys the area a lot, but complains that the squirrels here are just too small to bother with...not enough meat to make them worthwhile eating.
