I gave a close friend of mine a Benrus Mil watch as a gift( the 1995 D-Day commemorative) -specifically for dirty work. He has had concrete poured on it, worked in hazmat zones and has climbed cranes wearing it-just scrubbed it in the sink and good as new. I stick with field watches for field work. The right tool for the right job.

Guess im just not a big fan of that style of watch. I really want to keep a small collection and at this point im basically one in one out so they better be absolute bangers.

Hey guys heres my new strap. I put it on speedy i think it looks great. You can see the contrast of the strap on the metro. Not sure if its better than a dark black strap!! What do you think?? View attachment 892298

Tudor has a nice GMT you should add to your collection.... or a FC Worldtimer... it'll round out and compliment what you currently have

The tudor is nice but i wouldnt really use gmt function its not my favourite. Its a great looking watch in the flesh. I would rather do a bb58 or go up and get an older sub

You will NOT go wrong with the BB58... I picked one up on a whim 2 weeks ago and haven't worn anything else since (from my Patek to my Omega)... this to me, is the near perfect dive watch. I highly suggest you pick one up...!

that is singing very high praise ! Near perfect dive watch eh ...

I guess I'm in the frame of mind that I would always wish It was a sub. Although I do love the styling ! I havent seen one of these in the flesh. Does it work on smaller wrists ? (6.5") I mean I wear a speedy but i wouldnt go any smaller.

Hey guys! Heres my collection so far. Wondering where I should go from here ? Maybe into vintage watches?

All three watches were purchased brand new so I feel kind of lucky that I am the only owner!

The speedmaster is my favourite watch. I usually wear it on bracelet. The watch is damn near perfect.
Skx has a faded bezel, wear it for travel / work / swimming. Its a fun watch i really enjoy it.
Te nomos metro datum gangreserve is a new purchase. I am not sure when i would even wear it yet. The black band is almost too formal for me to wear everyday but im not sure what other straps would work wit it.

Cheers!
That could be three watch collection or you can dive into a rabbit hole!!! As many people have said this already : - Buy what you like, not what the other people telling you to buy.

I have small wrists and it sits really well on it (6.5" as well)...Just feels and looks right..... but it is definitely smaller than a Speedy...

Thanks man. I honestly like my watches a lot and i think maybe aspiring to a big one would be better than just accquiring more. It took my years to get these three. Been collecting for a long time.
