2) the effect of Saphire Snoopy vs. Hesalit Alaska…
3) the difference of the case dimensions between these two...

·I have one...I don't wear it as much as I should...it's a cool reference...I just don't like the bracelet...maybe I need to put it on the white velcro
you can buy an Uncle Seiko 1171 or 1450 bracelet
Or, buy a Forstner 1450 bracelet
& make it look period correct.
maybe time to pull the watch out & give the bracelet a face-lift.....

Just coz u got a deal doesn’t make it the norm. And why should they be? TinTin dials/casebacks were sold separately in large numbers…tons of project watches out there m…Alaskas parts have never been available AFAIK…
