·Do you think you would wear it regularly if you got it? I ask only because of the coincidence with me talking just last night about my old original Proplof that I ended up selling because it was so uncomfortable to wear. I eventually let a friend wear it for a few months so it wasn't just sitting there in a box, but he became uncomfortable because so many people were trying to buy it off his wrist, so I finally sold it.
Great if you do, but I am just curious how many folks buy something like this after admiring them for so long only to realize they may be impractical.
I guess my Wishlist would have a number of interesting watches (I also played around with a Aqua Terra GMT Worldtimer yesterday) so a Ploprof would only come out on special occasions or as part of a rotation. It’s true that in many ways it’s an impractical watch and the bling makes it a less likely tool/dive watch, but the fact it’s made of titanium means it weighs less than the original (the ‘basic’ version is lighter again without the gold).
I currently wear the same watch 95% of the time, so any Wishlist would mean I get to rotate them 😁. I’ll just have to think of 4 more to make up a week’s worth... Incidentally about 30 years ago my Wishlist contained just a Seiko Kinetic watch, so times change (and get more expensive) 😬
