Hey!
I got this little seamaster De Ville coming with a flat link bracelet I wanted and I have no use for the watch itself. I’d like to sell it but have no idea what ref it is and didn’t think manage to open the caseback it seems in pretty good condition though 😀
Any idea what it is and how can I open the caseback without causing any damage? 😁
Thanks!

The watch has no case-back, which might account for its nice condition. 😉

Looks like a clean 166.020. Even has the correct original crown (often replaced) and crystal with magnifier. I'd be interested when you get around to pricing it. Feel free to reach out.

Thanks guys!
It is indeed in excellent condition, case is very sharp and the dial seems perfect…
I’ll try to see similar examples that went for sale recently to get an idea of its worth 😀
Thanks again!

And I almost forgot…Any tip to open it to see the movement and inner caseback?
I’m guessing it’s through the front on this one so maybe I shouldn’t even try?

If you go on YouTube and search "Omega Seamaster Overhaul" there are a video or two that illustrate how you get into them, BUT likely the better choice is to not do it. For obvious reasons.
