Looking at getting my first Seamaster DeVille.
This one just popped up on EBay for a decent price, I’m curious if I can get a second set of eyes on the authenticity of it.

Really? I love em. I have many special dial SMDVs and wear them all the time. They make great affordable pieces.

Imagine a new bar of soap, nice, straight, crisp edges and lines. Imagine the same bar of soap after you’ve washed with it for a week. All rounded off, the crisp edges all blurred and rounded off.

The same applies to watch cases. We all want a new bar of soap, not one that’s been used to wash someone’s backside before we got it.

Well that would be true for most of us..........but I suspect that there are those out there, that would actively seek such a soiled bar of soap, perhaps with a short and curly hair or two stuck to it as a bonus! 🤮
