Help identify which ref is this?

Hi Everyone,

Been eyeing this beautiful vintage Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 for a while.

The thing is, I tried finding its ref. So far the closest I see is ref. 166.0131 cal.1022, but all the other examples of that specific refs are stainless steel colored, not gold like this. Is this another ref I have not yet identified or does vintage Omegas have multiple colors of the same refs?

I’m new at collecting swiss vintages, my experiences was with Japanese, where any variations (i.e: dial color, case color, etc) will have a different ref number.

Thanks for your time!

Excited to be here, I have loved the brand for a long time now, and I’m glad to be starting my journey.

Regards,
Mansa Karn

Omega would use the same case steel casebacks on steel, gold capped and gold plated models. So yes, it is the same reference, just with a different prefix for the metal type and color.

Some casebacks had multiple references engraved inside, so almost any combination is possible.
