What other hobbies are you into?

The aquarium was in the house way before I joined. There are no fancy fish in sight, I have always preferred community tanks, right now I have 4 Angelfish, one honey gourami(her pair passed away a long time ago), three pearl gouramis and a couple of xiphos. If you're wondering about the "mixture" of plants it's because I'm redecorating and have not made my mind up yet.
Into the aquarium hobby myself. Had 4 tanks running at a point. 75G 33G 20G 15G.
Took a break from that hobby for now. Was keeping many different types of piranhas.
Over 20yrs of piranhas only. Now I take care of my sons nano tank.

It's nice to know there are fellow aquarists on Omega Forums. My uncle had red bellied piranhas, I remember feeding them when I was little, it was really entertaining. 4 tanks sounds like total overkill for me as it's a very time consuming hobby, hats off to you sir!

If well maintained, it just takes about 15 mins per tank.
I mostly had solo piranhas cause no tank mate was tolerated with the ones I had. Imported straight from the amazon . Surprised my wife once (she hates aquarium) by going to the airport with her to pick up a 10" black piranha.
Lol, she had to sit in the back seat with our 6 month old at the time and to make sure the 24"x24"x24" box was safe for the drive home.
Her look was epic!!

I just rush ordered a 10" dobsonian telescope. Figured I need a new hobby to keep me from going stir-crazy during the shutdown. So, in addition to watches, now I can annoy my wife with space and optics factoids.

I love how the last two posts are wife annoying related. Maybe one day I'll dare to see for myself what the fuss is all about

Lol, I may have made it sound more stereotypical than it was. The more accurate version is that I got an eyeroll and a "well, I'm happy that you're happy."

Mechanical registering banks

That red cash register in the back, I had one just like it as a kid, in about the same condition. Wow, that brought back a bunch of memories!

My #1 and actually useful hobby is mechanical keyboards, it's something I use every day

My brother got me into one sixth scale figures, but honestly it's just a money sink, I sold most of the ones I collected and only keep meaningful ones

Other hobbies:
- Lego's - but lately just collecting
- Pokemon's - I occasionally buy new booster packs but I wish I could easily sell my entire hoarded collection - it feeds my gambling addiction
- 3D printing, making small simple useful things - it's one of the useful skills one can learn - I mostly use Tinkercad on web

Something useless I recently made:

Ah, also Fountain Pens 😁 But I sold my collection and stopped buying new ones, now I use some Lamy's from time to time
