路A lot to think about. I appreciate the input. Love the Wittnauer. Never seen one like it. All the watches here are beautiful and would be something I would be proud of wearing. Thank you for enabling me some more.
There are some exceptions. For example:
"IWC is the poor man's Patek."
"Zodiac, Tradition, Sears, etc. is the poor man's Heuer."
These two comparisons have some vague or direct truth to them and the watches are excellent.
Novina,
It seems you're very new to vintage watches. I would highly recommend you post here whatever watch you plan on buying. I know you might worry that one of us will snatch it away from you - but the benefits far outweigh the risk in this case. 馃榾
I think the perceived value and status of the modern day Swiss watch isn't what it used to be.
...I like to still being able to buy the in-house versions of the "cal 321" for no money at all. 馃榾馃檮
Probably not!
I don't claim to have searched to exhaustion, but I have never seen this one before. And heck yeah I like it! Is that a Wittnauer bracelet? QUOTE]
Yes, it is. It has a signed 'W' deployment clasp as well. My main reason for buying this one was that it has a simple, excellent condition, single decade slide rule bezel. I love watches with SR. Not to everyone's taste mind you, but one I enjoy wearing every so often. Very reliable and an auto wind too.
Cheers
