Our neighbourhood was built in the late 70s / early 80s and it appears as if architects and designers back then had a competition to create totally different styles of houses - no two are nearly the same. They include weird gables, bizarrely steep pitched roofs and are constructed from a mixture of wood, brick and rendered block. To give you an idea, the inside of ours resembled a set from the movie Boogie Nights - white shag pile carpet, raw pine walls, split level sunken lounge, cathedral ceiling with exposed beams.

Turner Hall in Milwaukee, all Cream City brick. No stone except in the foundation... that is Lannon stone.

·A good portion of my cloud photos are taken when I step out my door. We are situated on top of a hill. Kinda sad we may be selling as my wife got a couple interesting job offers one that works on “space things” but it’s just various lenses. I feel like I should be able to charge a premium for the view. Actually all but one of those was taken out my door between all the cloud, animal and watch pictures it gets confusing

·My neighborhood was built up mostly in the mid late 1920s till the 1940s consisting of mostly Spanish Colonial Revival homes, a few Tudor style and a spattering of Ranch Style. Over the years some of the homes have been demolished and have been replaced by McModerns and McMansions.

·I live about a 40 minute train ride from Paris, in a small town stuck between two forests and that's my house:
Most houses around are stone houses from the end of the 19th century to mid-20th century (this one is from 1953). It's very calm with a lot of biodiversity due to the presence of two forests and the Seine River running between them.

·I think my neighborhood could have been a quarry. People have done interesting things with all the rock in my neighborhood. I make a rock garden and actually powerwash mine to get that fungus off but a quick walk down my street shows how we rock. The one I have my hand on is about seven feet and I was with my neighbor when he moved it (helped him chain it) to complete a wall like appearance
